per was born in Essen in 1978 and grew up in Frankfurt.

from 1999 to 2001 he served an apprenticeship in a still life
studio.The following two years he worked as an assistent in Cologne.

in 2003 he started his studies of communications
design at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.

he continuously worked as a freelance assistant
for various photographers in Frankfurt and Hamburg during this time.

after finishing his studies in spring 2008 he is now working as a
people photographer
both, commercial and editorial.
